Residents and Family Members Testimonials
I wanted to say thank you for the care you and your staff have given to the residents of Brompton during the very challenging time.
My mom is Frances Bartoszek who has been a resident at Brompton for over four years. A huge thank you for making her 97th birthday on December 5th memorable. In talking with her last night, she is thrilled that exercise and rosary have started up again. There is a woman who runs exercise who also brings mom ice cream each day. Makes her day. Mom described yesterday’s tomato soup in great detail. Most excited for the working radio. It is the little things that make a big difference for her as covid and the isolation that had to take place did affect her mind.
How I wish we could see mom in person. And see your staff who I have gotten to know over the years. I’ve seen mom through the window – but our last in person visit was in March. When the aides are kind mom is a different person. I can only imagine how challenging things are for you. I try my best to comfort mom each night at 7:30 pm with a phone call.
Being over 65, I anticipate receiving a vaccine within the next few months. I wondered when your staff, especially the staff, and residents will be getting a vaccine? As soon as I receive my vaccine, I will be in Buffalo to visit.
What prompted me to write this? I teach at Ohio State University. On-line this past term with over 700 students using Zoom from my dining room table. I just spent 2 full days answering emails from both many disgruntled and a handful of satisfied students. It made me think of hard hard it has to be to run Brompton at this point. You need to know many positive things are happening. The families of your residents are grateful.

Thank you for the wonderful care that Brompton provided for our mother
Thank you for the wonderful care that Brompton provided for our mother, Shirley Carocci. Everyone at Brompton treated her well with care. We are glad that she was able to spend her last days in the room she was familiar with and that she shared with Sam. We appreciate everything you all did for her. Shirley’s passing was peaceful and we couldn’t ask for anything more.

Thank you so much for your help
Thank you so much for your help, Mark! I put up a bulletin board outside my grandma’s door where she can leave her menus that your culinary team supplies her. The variety of meals you offer are impressive! This should really help her eat, which will be huge for her, and her doctors will all be thrilled.

Staff have been extremely kind and helpful while we navigate through covid
I especially want to mention Laura, Cheryl and April who have done so much to help with scheduling visits. They all have been so kind and understanding. Also Morgan, Erin and Senequa who care for mom regularly. (There probably are more but I dont know all their names) Mom tells me how nice everyone is and it is truly comforting to me knowing that her caregivers and so kind and wonderful to her. I also want to thank Carole Poole and Joe who has been available and extremely helpful and kind to me since Moms first day there. Debbie Jerge has been great keeping the residents spirits up.
Its been a difficult time and your great staff have made it easier for me and my family. Hopefully once the vaccines are done we can all feel safe. Thank you for running a great assisted living facility and for the personal touch everyone provides. It is truly appreciated and I want to thank you for being available as well.
