At Brompton Heights, we’ve put together a team of passionate healthcare professionals with years of experience. We are dedicated to the humanity, dignity and well-being of residents entrusted to our care, and our team acts more as a family than just coworkers.

Executive Director

Brian Reader

Brian has nearly 30 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Ithaca College, an MBA from Canisius College and earned his Long-Term Care Nursing Home Administrators license in 2005. He has also been an active member of the National Ski Patrol for 17 years. Brian is a life-long Western New Yorker, a diehard Buffalo Bills fan and currently resides in Hamburg with his wife & 3 teenage children.

Assistant Executive Director

Carol Poole

Carol Poole is currently serves in the capacity of Assistant Administrator. Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, an Advanced Certificate in Long Term Care Administration, and a Master of Science in Health Services Administration. Carol has over 20 years of varied experience in healthcare, primarily in the development and oversight of community health programming for diverse patient populations. Carol’s passion, however, has always been senior care, and so she is excited to be a part of the Brompton Heights, Inc. team-a team that is committed to ensuring that residents and their families receive the best in care and overall services. Carol is a native of Niagara Falls, NY where she continues to reside with her husband in their empty nest.

Senior Admissions Director

Julie strange

Meet Julie, an integral part of the Brompton team for the past 8 years. With a background in the non-profit sector, Julie brings a unique perspective to her role, having traversed the country extensively before settling into the healthcare field.

Splitting her time between properties, Orchard Heights and Brompton Heights, Julie utilizes her expertise in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication to work with families to find the best fit for their loved ones.

What Julie loves most about her job is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the families she works with.

Business Office Manager

Joseph Raimondo

Born in Tonawanda, NY, Joseph moved to Brockport, NY at 8 years old and returned to the Buffalo, NY area to attend college at the University of New York at Buffalo where he earned a degree in accounting. Joseph has eight years of experience as a Business Office Manager for assisted living communities and has served in this capacity at Brompton Heights, Inc. for just over 6.5 years.

Director of Nursing

Erica Terzian

Erica has worked in nursing since the age of 18, starting as a CNA in a hospital. She graduated from Trocaire College with her LPN in 2015. She has years of experience working in nursing homes locally where she worked as a supervisor. She also spent time as an agency nurse and was placed at Brompton Heights in September and immediately fell in love with the residents, families, and community. Erica is married and has 3 kids – 2 boys/1 girl. She loves traveling to Disney and loves spending time with her family. She loves to work and stay busy.

Assistant Director of Nursing

Nina Somerville

Nina Somerville embarked on her healthcare journey in 2010, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Driven by her unwavering passion for healthcare and nursing, Nina made the decision to further her education. Enrolling in the LPN Excel program at Erie 1 BOCES, she dedicated herself to earning her LPN degree. With 14 years of comprehensive healthcare experience, Nina is delighted to join the esteemed team at Brompton Heights. Beyond her professional pursuits, she treasures the time spent with her two beloved daughters. Nina eagerly anticipates contributing to the Brompton Heights community and advancing in her nursing career.

Activities Director

Robin Hibbert

Robin is originally from Brooklyn, NY and now lives in Buffalo. She graduated from UB with a bachelor’s degree and has her certification in activities, dementia practitioner, and non-crisis interventions. She is a teaching artist for Arts for Learning of WNY and has worked in healthcare for over 25 years. Her goal is to merge her artistic experience with healthcare to create a healing experience.

Culinary Director

Mark Graham

Mark Graham CEF, has an extensive background in the culinary industry, having served in the following capacities: Asst. Executive Banquet Chef MGM Grand Hotel and Casino Las Vegas Nevada, having opened the hotel in 1993 with annual catering sales exceeding 36 million, Catering Director Wake Forest University 2001 – 2010, SAM Manager Cracker Barrel 2010- 2018. Mark has served as the Director of Culinary Services for Brompton Heights, Inc . since November 2021. Mark is a proud Buffalonian but is most proud of his daughter Abigail who will be graduating from Virginia Tech May 2022. In his spare time, Mark enjoys golfing and fishing

Maintenance Director

Miguel Diaz

Miguel was born and raised in Buffalo. He lives with his partner of 26 years; Wendy and they have 3 children and many grandchildren. He has 26 years’ experience in maintenance between long-term care and Assisted Living! In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with the family.
